Father's day is around the corner. I really suck at making masculine cards. Period.
Regardless, here is the card I made for my Papa:
The card base is Papertrey's True Black cardstock. The pattern papers are from Tim Holtz paper pack.
The car is from Unity's February KOTM. The 'DAD' is from Papertrey Ink's Framed Stamp set.
I used ink applicators and distressing pads to create the background. Then I applied the clock stamps (Tim Holtz) using the water embossing technique.
Water embossing: Press stamp into embossing pad (I use Versamark) and spray with water. Stamp onto card and remove immediately. Set with embossing gun.
Thanks for looking!
Aw! Great card for Dad. I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteI have never water embossed, but you can bet I will try it now. This is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI suck at making masculine cards too. I think you pulled it off on this one though. I have to make one for my dad yet. What kind of card do you make for a man whose only hobby is harassing the weatherman?
ReplyDeleteGreat masculine card! I am no good at masculine cards either, and hardly ever make them.
